First Edition 2001 Chinese translation 2006 Second Edition 2009 Portuguese translation 2015 Book has been reviewed four times - two in academic journals, two on-line. Book has sold over 50,000 copies and has been adopted at over 250 colleges and universities.

Six nominations for outstanding teaching (two in the last seven years)

Member of forty-three Graduate Thesis Committees (fourteen in the last seven years - two as chair)

Created seventy-nine individual drawing and painting PowerPoints over the last fifteen years totaling over 6,000 instructional slides that are used by instructors throughout UM's painting and drawing programs
