Course Description:
An introduction to the Macintosh Operating System interface and the hardware and software vocabulary common to the Apple computer format. Also the tools of three applications commonly used on the computer associated with the arts. The class is designed as an overview in the use of QuarkXpress; Illustrator and Photoshop and a short intro to Microsoft Word. The student will work hands-on and will use the applications to complete assigned tasks. The course will not only be a great assistant to those who need to develop skills on the Macintosh computer format but will also serve those who use other formats.
